Royal Schiphol Group is looking for a company or consortium that can help us deliver a climate adaptation strategy and implementation plan.

Mobility connects people and cities, and airports provide vital infrastructure for connectivity. Airports are also safe havens to supply food, humanitarian and emergency services; like being a military basis, providing emergency medical and rescue helicopter services and facilitating cargo logistics that are crucial for emergencies. To continue these services, and protect the benefits of global travel and trade, it is crucial that - besides decarbonising aviation - we create resilient, futureproof airports.

Situated in a complex urban area and situated more than four metres below sea level, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is especially vulnerable to the impact of climate change, and structural measures are essential to prevent potential short- and long-term issues. 

Tenderer will be asked to submit a written proposal in which they will be answering the criteria as described further in this RfP

Royal Schiphol Group intends to contract only one company/consortium for the execution of the further described services in this RfP.
