TenneT is planning to carry out a corporate tender (Germany and the Netherlands) for workers clothes, both for Onshore and Offshore demands.

At this point TenneT in the Netherlands and in Germany are sourcing their demands separately, in different ways, from different sources and partly based on different (safety-) specifications.
The goal of the planned corporate tender is to find common suppliers for our workers clothes demands (delivery, maintenance, cleaning) as well as harmonizing and simplifying our ways of sourcing through e.g. electronic catalogues. These goals include the streamlining of all underlying processes as well as improvement of the end-user experience in the purchasing process. During this process clothing lines, i.e. the public visibility of TenneT in the Netherlands as well as in Germany for On- and Offshore, will be harmonized. As a first step formerly different clothing specifiactions for Germany and the Netherlands already have been harmonized and are used as a base for this tender.

The tender will be carried out as a negotiation procedure with prior public call for competition.This means that any bidder or consortium that wants to take part in this tender first has to pass the call for competition, i.e be able to fulfill certain minimal requirements set by TenneT.
