Description:

The object of this European tendering process is a new contract for plagiarism detection software (hereinafter: the Solution) to be concluded between TU Delft and one supplier of plagiarism detection software. TU Delft intends to purchase plagiarism detection software that is suitable for checking submitted student work for plagiarism in a user-friendly way via an LTI integration with the "Collaboration and Learning Environment" (hereinafter: CLE) of TU Delft called Brightspace. The scope of the contract is initially four (4) years with the option to extend it four (4) times by one (1) year each time. The contract therefore has a maximum term of eight (8) years.

The scope of this tender comprises plagiarism detection software capable of scanning submitted student work for possible plagiarism by students from:

1. Public (Internet) sources;
2. Academic sources (behind a paywall);
3. Student works previously submitted at TU Delft

The plagiarism detection software should be able to recognise passages and show similarities from the aforementioned source types while referring to the original source.

The scope of this tender does not comprise: software that is able to scan mathematical formulas and/or programming language assignments for plagiarism, extra functionalities such as being able to check and give feedback (online) via the Solution and plagiarism checking within tools  for online and digital testing.
