Reason for the Tender Procedure
UM has purchased silicon material blanks for these optics and is now intending to purchase optical processing (shaping and polishing) of these blanks.

Description of the Contract
ETpathfinder is a cryogenic interferometer testbed for technologies of future gravitational-wave detectors. The main optics of the ETpathfinder interferometer, here referred to as "test masses", are to be made from crystalline silicon and must be shaped and polished according to stringent requirements.

Purpose and intended result of the Tender Procedure
The purpose of this Tender Procedure is European Tender to enter into an Agreement with one party.
