General information Maastricht University
Maastricht University (UM) is the youngest and most international university in the Netherlands and, with nearly 22,000 students and 4,400 employees, is still growing. The university distinguishes itself with its innovative Problem Based-education model, international character and multidisciplinary approach to research and education. Description and usage of the Contract The purpose of this tender is to conclude a license contract for a period of at least four years - with an optional extension of 2 x 2 years -, including implementation of a working online survey tool, to be used in Maastricht University's research, education and business operations. Within UM more than 10 units (faculties, service centers and other offices) use the central UM survey tool. We currently have about 32,000 surveys outstanding, of which 50% is actively collecting responses. There are around 10,000 users in our environment of which 75% are student users and 25% are staff. The online survey tooling is used for, among others, qualitative and quantitative - often longitudinal - research, benchmarks, workflow handling, educational evaluations and quality surveys, selection and matching of prospective students, monitoring of alumni, evaluation/satisfaction measurement and monitoring of services, systems and tools, event registration etc.
