TenneT has a legislative obligation to maintain an asset register. It also needs asset data for its core business processes. The current TenneT Asset Register BMR contains several data types which are related and need to be interfaced to systems using asset information. The asset data consists of asset parameters, geographical data, drawings, and additional documents like manuals..
This asset data needs to be registered and managed. The introduction of renewable energy sources change the requirements, for data registered and models used to enhance the design and use of the electricity infrastructure. It drives the need for a new state of the art asset registration environment targeted at asset data, geographical information and drawings. This to enable flexible, governed asset data storage and distribution.
ADM Department
The ADM department is tasked to provide reliable data (correct, complete, up-to-date), in time for use in various business processes and to a diverse groups of users. ADM requires solid data management processes and proper IT support systems to accomplish this task.
New system
The new Asset Registration system and Asset Repository project is started to improve the effectivity, efficiency and flexibility of the current ADM environment.
Due to changed requirements within the TenneT organisation the responsibilities of ADM are expanded. ADM will be responsible for the registration and maintenance of the TenneT Offshore asset data.
It includes firstly Asset Registration, GIS (Geographical Information Systems), OTL (Object type Library) and 3D functionality and the ability to interface the information to other TenneT systems (like ERP, DMS, asset Health Index, CAD systems, BIM standards, Risk and Portfolio management and reporting systems) . Secondly MDM (Master Data Management) is required as part of the solution.
The goal of this tender is to conclude an Agreement with one supplier for delivery, implementation and support of an Asset Registration System and Asset Repository for both TenneT TSO B.V. as for TenneT TSO GmbH.
