74106 Weapon Thermal Sight System

Description:

There is a need for a Weapon Thermal Sight System with additional functionalities. This WTSS will be used by a wide variety of gunners during land and sea/ocean operations and reconnaissance.
The WTSS will be used during missions during day and night and during conditions with reduced visibility like precipitation and smoke.
The WTSS will be used as an aiming system for the heavy machine gun M2 QCB, caliber 12,7 mm x 99 while the gun is mounted on a standalone tripod or soft mount on a vehicle. The system shall
consist of a Thermal Sight and a display that can be mounted on the ARC side rails of the helmet of the gunner and placed before the eye. This display system shall be called Helmet Mounted Display
(HMD) and shall be attached to the thermal sight by a detachable cable.
