Description:: HVAC universal submarine repair joint (110-220kV) ("SMART Joint")

Development of an AC universal submarine repair joint for repairing cable faults on AC cable systems (110 - 220 kV). Construction as developed of two AC universal submarine repair joints and testing of the AC universal submarine repair joints for suitability for cable repair on the cables in operation by the Client.
After successful testing of the AC universal submarine repair joint, the client has the possibility to order six "SMART Joints" from the contractor.

A non-disclosure agreement must be concluded in advance to protect the confidentiality of information contained in the award documents of the awarding authority. The non-disclosure agreement is non-negotiable. The document "Confidentiality Agreement_SMART Joint" provided for download must be used and signed and sent to the following e-mail address:

The awarding authority will grant the applicant access to the tender documents after a plausibility check has been carried out.

From this, the applicant cannot yet deduce that the awarding authority certifies the general suitability of the applicant for further participation in the tender procedure. In this regard, the awarding authority will send separate invitations to tender (ITT-Invitation to Tender) to the successfully qualified applicants (then: bidders) for the tender procedure after the expiry of the participation application deadline.

The request for participation must be submitted in due time and at the latest by

have been received via the e-tendering platform Negometrix (participation application deadline)

Submission is possible at any time before the participation application deadline via Negometrix. Individual deadline extensions will not be granted.

Postal submissions and submissions by fax or e-mail are not permitted and will result in exclusion from the award procedure. All communication between applicants/bidders and the awarding authority must take place via Negometrix.

Award criteria:
"Technical concept" / weighting: 35%.
"Contract terms" / weighting: 25%
"SHE (Safety, Health, Environment)" / weighting: 5%
"Price" / weighting: 35%
